Timeline
Entrepreneur Steven Brouckaert launches Partners in Accountancy in Belgium. His mission: to unite the strengths of local accountancy firms and support their personalized service with centralized IT, tools, and expertise.
Filip Balcaen and family office Baltisse join the group as investor-entrepreneurs to help further consolidate the growth of Partners in Accountancy.
Partners in Accountancy reaches the milestone of 22 offices and 350 employees.
Partners in Accountancy is rebranded as PIA Group to emphasize that we offer more than just accountancy services.
PIA Group takes its first steps across the border by establishing PIA Netherlands in collaboration with accountancy group Brouwers Accountants & Adviseurs.
The international growth of PIA Group calls for a new leadership structure. Nathalie Calle is appointed CEO of PIA Belgium, while Ewout Brouwers becomes CEO in the Netherlands. Steven Brouckaert takes on the role of Executive Chairman of PIA Group International.
